2016 Guest Poser IFBB Pro Charles Griffen
I started competing in 2014. I started prepping myself really not knowing what to expect, then I decided to hire a coach. I hired IFBB Pro Tim Johnson my last 2 or 3 weeks to help dial me in. I ended up winning my class as a light heavy and then went on to win the overall. I then decided to go to Nationals, the North American Championships. I took 7th place out of 38 competitors. I then went on to compete at Nationals in Miami in 2014 where I took 12th place out of 55 competitors. That off-season I put on 22lbs of some good quality muscle and jumped up to Heavyweight. In 2015 I competed at the USA’s and placed 3 out of 38 competitors and broke the top 5. I got right back on the horse and started my prep for Nationals in Miami where I placed 1st in my Heavyweight class earning my IFBB Pro Card.
